LOS ANGELES, Calif., April 8, 2010 – Just over a week following their official U.S. introduction, Familia Camarena Tequila joins Major League Baseball’s Opening Week festivities by announcing prestigious marketing sponsorship agreements with two of California’s most celebrated baseball franchises.

In separate deals with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the San Francisco Giants, Familia Camarena Tequila has secured rights to extensive in-stadium exposure throughout each of the franchise’s 81 home games during the 2010 regular season.

With distribution of Familia Camarena Tequila launching first in California and Nevada, the regional benefit of consistent baseball fan loyalty paired with the high frequency of games packed into the six-month MLB season position the Angels and Giants as ideal partners for jumpstarting west coast awareness of the new premium tequila brand.

O’Brien secured sponsorship components spanning both agreements with Familia Camarena Tequila to include use of official team marks and logos for consumer promotion, the feature of in-stadium signage, as well as LED and scoreboard brand visibility. Contract-specific opportunities with the Angels also include radio mentions for all 162 regular season games.

In the Bay Area, Opening Day home action for the San Francisco Giants gets underway against the Atlanta Braves on Friday, April 9 with two-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum at the helm.
